1. What are the main anti-slip patterns available for your checkered plates?

A: We primarily offer two mainstream patterns: Diamond and Bean (Striated). Both designs are ergonomically engineered to effectively increase friction and prevent slipping. 

2. What is the "pattern height" of the plate? Will it affect vehicle traffic?

A: Our standard pattern height is typically 10%-15% of the base plate thickness (e.g., for a 3mm thick plate, the pattern height is approx. 0.3-0.45mm). This height provides sufficient grip while remaining low enough not to obstruct the smooth passage of forklifts or hand trucks. 

3. Besides Q235 and 304, can you supply other special materials?

A: Yes. In addition to standard materials, we can supply aluminum checkered plates (for lightweight requirements) and wear-resistant steel (such as NM400, for high-wear environments) based on specific project needs. 

4. Which national standards do you comply with?

A: We mainly comply with GB/T 3277-1991 (Checkered Steel Plates) and GB/T 709-2016 (Dimensions, shape, weight, and tolerances for hot-rolled steel plates and strips). For export projects, we strictly manufacture according to ASTM A36 or EN 10025 standards. 

5. Can the dimensions of the steel plates be customized?

A: Absolutely. While our standard sizes include 1m×2m, 1.25m×2.5m, and 1.5m×6m, we have professional cutting equipment that allows us to provide cut-to-length services according to your drawings, reducing your on-site processing costs. 

6. Can the surface be galvanized? How thick is the zinc coating?

A: Yes. We offer Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) treatment. The standard zinc coating thickness is usually 275g/m² or 450g/m² (double-sided), which effectively extends the service life of the steel plate in humid or corrosive environments. 

7. What is your lead time for delivery?

A: For regular stock specifications, we can ship within 7-15 days. For non-standard customizations or large-volume production, the exact lead time depends on the order quantity and complexity, typically ranging from 20 to 30 days. 

8. How do you ensure the surface is not scratched during transportation?

A: We use professional packaging methods. Typically, the inner packaging consists of rust-proof paper and plastic film, and the outer layer is bundled with strong steel straps. For stainless steel or aluminum plates with strict surface requirements, we will add protective corners or wooden crate packaging. 

9. How is the theoretical weight of this steel plate calculated?

A: The theoretical weight formula for checkered plates is: Weight(kg) = Thickness(mm) × Width(m) × Length(m) × Density Coefficient. The density coefficient is approx. 7.85 for carbon steel and 7.93 for stainless steel. Because the patterns increase the surface area, the actual weight is usually 3%-5% heavier than a flat plate of the same thickness. 

10. Can you provide third-party inspection certificates?

A: Yes. As a professional exporter, we can cooperate with third-party inspection agencies such as SGS, BV (Bureau Veritas), or CCS (China Classification Society) for pre-shipment inspections, and we will provide the original Mill Test Certificate (MTC).
