Common Customer Questions (Q&A Format)

Q: What is the lead time for stainless steel medium-thick plates?

A: Typically 20–60 days, depending on order volume and production schedule.

Q: Do you support non-standard dimensions or special coatings?

A: Yes, we offer customized sizes (e.g., rectangular sheets, special thicknesses) and coatings (e.g., epoxy resin, 3PE anti-corrosion layers).

Q: How is product quality ensured?

A: Third-party inspection reports (e.g., SGS, TUV) and full lifecycle traceability are provided to guarantee compliance with ASTM, GB/T, etc.

Q: What shipping methods are available? Is global delivery supported?

A: Options include sea, land, or air freight. We support containerized or bulk shipping to major global ports.

Q: Is 304L suitable for low-temperature environments?

A: Yes, 304L exhibits excellent low-temperature performance and intergranular corrosion resistance between -196°C and 800°C.

Q: What advantages does duplex stainless steel (e.g., 2205) offer over austenitic stainless steel?

A: 2205 combines the corrosion resistance of austenitic steel with the high strength of ferritic steel, ideal for high-stress corrosion environments (e.g., marine engineering).

Q: What should be considered when welding stainless steel medium-thick plates?

A: Control interpass temperature (to avoid cold cracks), use matching filler materials (e.g., 308L weld wire), and perform solution annealing to relieve stress.

Q: What is MOQ

A: 1pcs or 5 tons for normal steel grade , special steel grade is to be negotiated.
